If something you rely on changes, it is written here first, with its date. The newest entry is at the top.

**Quick answer — What has changed at LLMWebSearch?**

The first entry is dated 22 October 2026: the **LLMWebSearch** website, the documentation and version 1 of the web search API contract were published, with credit packs from $9.25 for 5,000 searches down to $1.20/1K searches at volume, paid in crypto with no KYC. Later changes to endpoints, prices or policies will be listed here, newest first.

## 22 October 2026: website, documentation and API v1 contract

- **API v1 contract.** `POST` or `GET https://llmwebsearch.com/api/v1/search` for a live web search with ranked results and the top pages read as Markdown; `POST https://llmwebsearch.com/api/v1/extract` to read URLs you already have; `GET https://llmwebsearch.com/api/v1/credits` for the balance, free.
- **Credits.** One credit pays for one search: up to 20 ranked results, with the pages of the first 3 read and returned as Markdown. Reading 4 to 10 pages makes it 2 credits. A call that ends in an error costs nothing. Reading pages whose URLs you already have costs 1 credit for each started group of 3 pages returned with content, up to 20 URLs per call; refused or failed URLs are not counted.
- **Prices.** Five packs, from $9.25 for 5,000 searches to $1,200 for 1,000,000 searches, set on 22 October 2026. Search credits have no expiry date: what you do not use this month is still there next year.
- **Page reader.** Identifies itself as `LLMWebSearch/1.0 (+https://llmwebsearch.com/bot/)`. Our reader respects robots.txt: it introduces itself as LLMWebSearch, follows the rules a site writes for it or for all robots, and leaves out the content of any page it is not allowed to read.
- **Policies.** [Terms](https://llmwebsearch.com/terms/), [acceptable use](https://llmwebsearch.com/acceptable-use/), [privacy](https://llmwebsearch.com/privacy/) and [refunds](https://llmwebsearch.com/refunds/) published the same day.
- **Documentation.** Quick start, endpoint references, and copy-paste integrations for Python, Node.js, curl, MCP, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI function calling, n8n and OpenClaw.

## Which changes get a dated entry?

Anything that can change your code, your bill or your rights. That covers new or changed endpoints, parameters and response fields, new error codes, price changes, changes to how credits are counted, changes to the page reader's rules, and new versions of the legal pages.

Incidents that affect many accounts also get an entry, with the time window and what we changed. Small fixes to the wording of documentation do not.

## How are price changes announced?

Here, before they apply, and on the [pricing page](https://llmwebsearch.com/pricing/) with the new date. A higher price never touches packs you already bought: they keep the credits you paid for. A lower price applies to packs bought from its date onward.

## Can I build on API v1 without surprises?

Yes. Within v1, we may add new fields, parameters and `content_status` values, so write code that ignores fields it does not know. We will not rename or remove a field or a parameter in v1.

A change that would break existing code comes as a new version under a new path, announced here in advance, so you choose when to move.

## How can I follow the changes?

Check this page, or watch it with a script: every page of this site also exists as plain Markdown, which is easy to compare from one day to the next. This page is the reference: an email address is optional at LLMWebSearch, so we cannot count on writing to every account. The date at the top of each policy page also tells you when it last changed.
