One top-up, then search credits from the balance

Pay for a web search API in crypto

You send crypto once, the balance is credited after the payment is checked, and every pack is bought from it. Here are the coins, the steps, the usual mistakes, and how a prepaid balance differs from paying each call in USDC.

Quick answer

How do I pay for LLMWebSearch in crypto?

Top up your LLMWebSearch balance with at least $25 in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC: send the exact amount shown, on the network shown, then confirm on the payment page. The balance is credited once the payment is checked on the blockchain. You then buy search credits from it, starting at $9.25 for 5,000 searches. No KYC, no card.

Which coins and networks are accepted?

Six coins feed the same balance. USDT can be sent on TRC-20 or ERC-20 and USDC on ERC-20; the payment page gives the address and the network for the coin you choose.

  • BTCBitcoin
  • USDTTetherTRC-20 or ERC-20
  • USDCUSD CoinERC-20
  • ETHEthereum
  • SOLSolana
  • LTCLitecoin

What are the steps of a top-up?

From an empty account to an API key in five steps. The only waiting time is the blockchain confirmation and the payment check.

  1. Pick an amount and a coin

Enter at least $25 and choose BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. The page converts the dollar amount into the coin.

  2. Send exactly what is shown

One transfer, the exact figure, on the network named on the page. Rounding the amount or splitting it makes the payment hard to match.

  3. Confirm on the payment page

Click "I've sent the payment". If the page asks for the transaction ID, paste it; it speeds up the check.

  4. Wait for the check

We match the transfer by its amount, wait for the confirmations its network needs, and credit the balance. Pending top-ups are listed in the dashboard.

  5. Buy a pack and get your key

Choose any pack from the balance. Once your crypto top-up is confirmed and a pack is bought, your API key is waiting in the dashboard.

Which coin should I choose?

The one you already hold, on the network with the smallest fee you can use. A stablecoin, USDT or USDC, keeps the amount in dollars between the moment you open the payment page and the moment you send. With BTC, ETH, SOL or LTC, the coin amount is fixed for that payment, so send it without delay.

The network fee is paid by the sender and is not deducted from your top-up. For small top-ups, USDT on TRC-20 or SOL usually costs less in fees than an ERC-20 transfer.

Why is there a minimum top-up?

Every payment is checked and recorded, whatever its size, so very small top-ups cost more to handle than they bring. The minimum is $25. Once it is on the balance, you can buy any pack, including 5,000 searches for $9.25.

Money on your balance does not expire and buys search credits whenever you want. When a pack is cheaper than the minimum top-up, the part you paid only to reach that minimum comes back to you on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, provided it is still unspent. The rest of a balance is not returned unless the law requires it.

I sent the wrong amount or used another network: now what?

A different amount cannot be matched by itself, and a transfer on a network the page did not show may never reach the address. Check the coin, the network and the amount before you send.

If it already happened, write to [email protected] with the order ID and the transaction ID. Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number or one of your API keys, by email or in a chat. Coins sent on an unsupported network may be impossible to recover.

How does a prepaid crypto balance compare with per-call USDC (x402)?

Several AI search APIs let an agent pay each call in USDC through x402 or MPP, with no account. The rows below come from each provider's own documentation, read on 22 October 2026. We found no other AI search API that sells a prepaid account funded in crypto.

Others, same date: Desearch accepts TAO top-ups where supported; Kagi takes BTC and Lightning for account funds, without saying whether that covers its API. Bright Data and Oxylabs say they take no crypto at all.

Which model suits my agent: per call or prepaid?

Per-call USDC suits an agent that holds its own wallet on Base or Solana and should pay as it goes, with no account at all. It needs a wallet that can sign each payment, and every call carries a small on-chain settlement.

A prepaid balance suits teams that hold BTC, USDT, ETH, SOL or LTC, want one top-up for many searches, and plug an API key into tools that already expect one: MCP servers, LangChain, n8n or OpenClaw. LLMWebSearch does not take x402 payments today; every call is paid from the balance.

What can I buy once the balance is credited?

Any pack: 5,000 searches for $9.25, 25,000 searches for $41.25 or 100,000 searches for $145, with larger packs on the pricing page. Search credits have no expiry date: what you do not use this month is still there next year.

Paying in crypto: short answers

Will you ask for a card or an ID at checkout?

No. LLMWebSearch is paid in crypto only and asks for no identity documents. Sign in with an account number; an email address is optional.

Can my agent pay for each search with x402?

Not today. Every search is paid from a prepaid balance funded in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. If per-call payment matters to you, the comparison above lists the providers that offer it.

Can a crypto payment be refunded?

Refunds go to the balance, which avoids a second network fee. A pack bought in the last 72 hours goes back to your balance if less than 20% of its credits were spent. If a pack does not work and support cannot fix it within 24 hours, the whole pack goes back to your balance. Top-ups stay on the balance and are not paid out unless the law requires it; whatever you added only to reach the minimum top-up comes back on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, as long as it is unspent.

Is the coin amount fixed when I open the payment page?

Yes, for that payment. Send the exact amount shown; with USDT or USDC it equals the dollar price.
